To set up a new domain on your web hosting space, you must start by accessing your cPanel account administration panel.
Below we show you step-by-step how you can configure a new domain in your account administration panel - cPanel.
1) After logging in, go to the 'Domains' section.
2) In the 'Domains' section to add a new domain you must click on the 'Create a new domain' button.
3) In the new opened section, enter the domain you want to configure in the 'Domain' field (Eg: newaddondomain.com - insert without 'www').
i) If you want the configured domain to show the same content as the main domain (Alias / Parked domain) you must select the 'Share document root' option'.
ii) If you want the configured domain to show specific content present in a certain directory, you must define in the 'Document root' field the path to the directory where you have/will insert the content to be shown.
The 'Subdomain' and 'Document Root' fields will be automatically populated, but can be changed as needed.
4) Click 'Submit'. The additional domain is already configured in your web hosting plan. From now on, you should simply ensure that the domain points to your web hosting plan by configuring the nameservers or by configuring the necessary DNS records.
