To set up a new domain on your web hosting space, you must start by accessing your Plesk account administration panel.
Below we show you step-by-step how you can configure a new domain in your account administration panel - Plesk.
1) After logging in, in the side menu access the 'Websites & Domains' section and click on 'Add Domain'.
2) In the new opened section, click on the 'Blank site' option.
3) On the new domain configuration screen, configure the fields as shown below:
i) 'Registered domain name': You must fill in this field with the name of the new domain you want to configure (without 'www').
ii) 'Webspace': By default, this field will already be filled in with the name of the hosting space you have. You can, however, choose another one if desired..
iii) 'Hosting type': By default, this field will already be filled with the option 'Website hosting'. This will be the option indicated to allow hosted content associated with the new domain to be configured. In order for you to take advantage of the DNS and email service on this new domain, you must keep the 'Activate the DNS service' and 'Activate the mail service' options selected.
iv) In the 'Hosting Settings' section you must in the 'Document root' field define the path of the directory where you have/will have the contents that you want to be shown when you access the domain you are configuring.
4) Click 'Add domain'. From now on, the additional domain is already configured in your web hosting plan. From now on, you should simply ensure that the domain in question points to your web hosting plan by configuring the respective nameservers or by configuring the necessary DNS records.
