If you cannot access your website, e-mail and other features of your web hosting service (Ex: FTP), most likely you have your internet connection IP blocked in the firewall of one of WebHS servers.

Querying the reason for the block as well as the possibility of removing it can be done independently, through your WebHS customer area.


Steps you may take to proceed with IP unblock


1: Get your connection IP

  • Get your IP through the address https://ip.webhs.pt - This access must be made through the connection through which you cannot access your service with WebHS.


2: Go to 'Unblock IP' menu on WebHS customer area

  • After getting your IP, access your customer area, go to menu 'Support' and select the option 'Unblock IP'.


3: Get the reason and unblock IP

  • In the field available, enter your connection IP and check if it is blocked as well as the reason for the block.


4: Prevent another IP block

  • After proceeding with the unblocking and in order to prevent a similar situation, based on the reason presented, proceed with the necessary corrections in order to avoid a new blocking.


IP blocking is not always the reason for not being able to access a certain service. If the IP blocking is not confirmed, you must verify that all associated services have their invoices payed and that there is no constraint on your internet connection.
